Summer in the Hamptons means rosé on porches, lobster rolls by the beach, and that ever-important question: Where are we eating tonight? So before you make that reservation or pack a cooler, scroll down. Be in the know. Your friends will be like, “OMG, Amanda, how did you know about this?”
1. Plaza Café’s rebirth: FĒNIKS rises in Southampton

Chef Douglas Gulija of Plaza Café fame is back with FĒNIKS, a luxe new concept inspired by his Croatian roots. Think seafood-driven New American menus, a Chef’s Counter for six, and a second-story lounge slinging bold cocktails, such as the “12 to Midnight.” Doors open late June at 75 Jobs Lane.
2. Sushi by Boū goes speakeasy in Westhampton Beach
NYC’s Sushi by Boū debuts a Hamptons omakase hideaway upstairs at Sydney’s “Taylor” Made Cuisine. Guests enter by riddle and settle in for a 12-course, 75-minute journey curated by a private chef. Open Thursday to Sunday, $75 per guest, with sake included.
3. The Clam Bar hits 44 with a ‘Shuck Truck‘
A retro Citroen van is bringing the legendary Amagansett shack to backyards and events. Expect raw bar favorites like oysters, clams and shrimp cocktail. The Clam Bar on Montauk Hwy is open daily at 11:30 a.m. (weather permitting).
4. Artie’s in the Hamptons brings burgers and beats
Michelin-star chef Joe Isidori reopens Arthur & Sons in Bridgehampton with a late-night twist: Artie’s in the Hamptons. Think award-winning burgers, margaritas and rock ‘n’ roll after dark. Happy Hour runs daily from 4 to 6 p.m.
5. R.AIRE marks five flavorful years in Hampton Bays
Chef Alex Bujoreanu’s hidden gem at the Hampton Maid is marking five years serving up Spanish fine dining with no butter or processed flour. Standouts include the Seafood Paella, Sardines Picada, and a duck-fat washed bourbon Old Fashioned.
6. Motorino Mobile returns with pasta, pizza and rotisserie

The Brooklyn pizza powerhouse is back with even more firepower: pasta cooked in a 4-foot pan, French rotisserie meats, and gelato carts for backyard bashes. Book the trailer and customize your own Italian feast.
7. Golden Pear turns 38 with tea and protein bowls
A Hamptons breakfast favorite for nearly four decades, The Golden Pear has added egg-topped protein bowls and a new Golden Pear Summer Latté to its lineup. And tropical iced tea is now available to brew at home. All three locations open daily at 6:30 a.m.
8. Duryea’s opens luxury Sunset Cottages

Montauk’s seafood haven has added boutique lodging on Firestone Road with outdoor showers, al fresco dining and room service from the restaurant. Rates start at $1,155. The lobster deck opens Memorial Day weekend.
9. Navy Beach goes big on seafood and swag
The Montauk favorite launches merch and a refreshed menu, adding Everything Bagel Crusted Salmon and new vegetarian sides. Their famed beachside view? Still unbeatable. Season starts April 25.
