The dough has officially expanded.
Dough & Co., the popular Main Street staple in Huntington, has officially opened its second location in Oyster Bay, taking over the former Umberto’s space on Main Street.
“We’ve been thinking about another store for a while now, and we finally found the perfect location,” manager Gaetano Femminella previously told Greater Long Island. “It’s a great village setting, very similar to Huntington.”
Owner Danny Rocca first opened Dough & Co. in 2022, quickly building a loyal following for its artisanal pizzas — especially its signature burrata slice.
The restaurant has also earned recognition beyond Long Island, landing on several “best of” lists, including a nod from The Washington Post as one of the top three pizzerias in the Tri-State area.
And as always, it starts with the dough.
Femminella says the recipe uses a blend of Italian and American flours, with no “nasty chemicals,” and a process that prioritizes quality over shortcuts.
“Our dough is the number one thing people always ask us about,” he said. “We take a lot of pride in making it the way we do. It’s a little more involved, but it’s worth it.”
“We don’t have to shout out what we do right. We don’t pay for influencers. Just taste ours and you know,” he added.
The Oyster Bay location is now open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, offering a menu largely identical to the Huntington original.
