Bay Shore has a new store offering crafts and home decor.
Last month, national chain Hobby Lobby held a grand opening for its second Long Island store in the former Pathmark at 2060 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore.
The Oklahoma City-based retailer has over 800 stores across the U.S.
According to Hobby Lobby, each store has “more than 70,000 crafting and home decor products including floral, fabric, needle art, custom framing, baskets, home accents, wearable art, arts and crafts, jewelry making, scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies.”
“The success of our stores in New York is a good indicator that Bay Shore shoppers will be pleased with the quality, selection and value we offer in the craft and home decor market,” said advertising head Kelly Black.
“New customers and customers already familiar with the Hobby Lobby shopping experience are eagerly anticipating this store opening.”
The Bay Shore location, which is 46,000 square feet, is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is closed on Sundays.
Hobby Lobby’s other Long Island locations include King Kullen Plaza in Commack and a third location that recently opened, according to the company, at 5234 Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
