Police arrested a Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa on Wednesday for forcibly touching a woman during a massage at the Huntington location last year, cops said.
Steven Dunn, 39, of Syosset, inappropriately touched the woman as she lay on the massage table at the spa, located at 315 Walt Whitman Road, on Dec. 19, police said. The woman did not report the incident to police at the time.
But then Dunn resurfaced in the woman’s life nearly nine months later, having tracked down her Facebook page, according to authorities. He sent her a DM on Sept. 1 to let her know about his new workplace, police said.
The message prompted the woman to contact police. Suffolk Police Second Squad detectives investigated, and Dunn was charged with forcible touching.
He was issued a desk appearance ticket and is due to be arraigned at a later date at Suffolk First District Court in Central Islip.
Police asked that anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Dunn to call the Second Squad at 631.854.8252.
