Paul Gargiulo is $1 million richer thanks to the New York Lottery.
The Huntington man won the top prize off of a $1,000,000 Cashword scratch-off ticket, New York Lottery officials announced Oct. 1.
The prize was picked up at a Lindenhurst convenience store called Kings Montauk C-Store, located at 2 West Montauk Highway.
His $1 million prize was paid out as a one-time lump sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings.
