Inside the new Fatwood Southern Kitchen, serving up BBQ in Bay Shore

Roll up your sleeves and prepare the wet-naps because Bay Shore’s new BBQ restaurant is now open.

Fatwood — located on 150 East Main Street — was launched on Wednesday, July 11, by local businessmen Drew Dvorkin, Greg Mogil and Peter Petrakis.

The trio took over the property back in 2016.

Two years later, the space — which features an outdoor eating area — has been completely transformed into a down-home BBQ place with a Southern-feel.

“I am very happy how everything came out,” said Dvorkin, “We accomplished what we set out to do.”
