One of the heroes of the New York Knicks’ historic championship run is headed to Long Island.
Fresh off the team’s ticker-tape parade, sharpshooter Landry Shamet will appear at a championship celebration Sunday at Bull Smith’s Tavern in Smithtown.
The Knicks guard caught fire during the playoffs, shooting 47.5% from beyond the arc, including a blistering 91% in the Eastern Conference finals.

Shamet will sign autographs and take photos with fans during the ticketed event, which also includes a three-hour buffet and open bar.
The celebration runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bull Smith’s Tavern, located at 155 W. Main St.
