LI clothing company to donate 100% profits from new shirt campaign to Patchogue restaurants

|

One of Long Island’s newest clothing brands is using its latest designs to help give back during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The co-owners of Marooned Clothing Co., Cassidy Layton and Heather Brown, rolled out its Think Global, Act Local T-shirt initiative earlier this month.

The goal of the campaign is to bring additional revenues to businesses in their hometown of Patchogue.

To do that, Layton and Brown drop off their shirts at participating restaurants/bars. These places then sell the clothing with all profits staying with that business.

“We just want to help those in a tough position,” said Brown, who launched her company last summer.

You can grab these shirts currently at Rudi’s Bar and Grill, The Cheese Patch, and Donatina’s Neapolitan Pizza Cafe.

Additionally, Marooned announced it began selling the design on its site. All of the money raised from the online sales will go toward benefitting local restaurants and healthcare workers through a fundraiser sponsored by GreaterPatchogue.
