Hummus Fit — a Meditteranean meal-prep service part of the healthy food-to-go chain, Hummus Mediterranean — landed in Lindenhurst a couple of weeks ago.
And Liana Mavruk, who owns the main Holbrook store and runs the operation with her husband Tony, said business has been booming since its debut at 40 Sunrise Highway on March 14.
“We are getting a lot of walk-ins from the local gym,” Mavruk said. “It’s crazy how supportive and welcoming the Lindenhurst community has been!”
With existing locations in Deer Park and Ronkonkoma, Hummus Fit offers nutritious food options and guilt-free snacks for those looking for fitness-focused, meal preparation services.
Hummus Meditteranean is an assembly-style restaurant in Selden and Holbrook that allows patrons to build their own fresh Meditteranean bowls and sandwiches.
The Lindenhurst location is not only the chain’s largest store, but it provides the largest variety of to-go prepared meals, protein snacks, supplements and nutrition plans.
