A luck-struck Lindenhurst man has claimed a $5 million top prize on the New York Lottery’s $5,000,000 Cash Royale scratch-off game.
Jose Galeano opted to receive a single lump-sum payment of $2,235,939 after required withholdings, according to lottery officials. He bough the winning ticket in Amityville, at the Stop & Shop located on Merrick Road.
Three top prizes remain on the $5 million Cash Royale scratch-off game. Players can check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
Galeano’s big win comes on the heels of a giant scratch-off win for fellow Suffolk County resident Vincent Burzotta. The West Babylon man in November won $3 million playing New York Lottery’s Multiplier Craze scratch-off game.
