The next Lucharitos location is about to arrive.
The Long Island chain is bringing its Tex-Mex flavors to Ronkonkoma, with an opening scheduled for Dec. 9, owner Marc LaMaina confirmed to Greater Long Island.
The new location will be part of the Station Yards development, directly across from the LIRR station.
The 1,500-square-foot restaurant will offer indoor seating for 35 guests, complemented by outdoor seating for 45 more. Positioned as a standalone venue, the new Lucharitos will be centrally located within Station Yards, a bustling new community hub.
Station Yards is a multi-phase project spearheaded by TRITEC. Its first phase, completed in 2021, introduced 489 apartment homes under the name Alston Station Yards. The current phase, which includes 388 additional apartments, 70,000 square feet of retail space, 16,500 square feet of office space, and a public plaza, is set to be completed by late spring or early summer.

“TRITEC has done an outstanding job creating an environment where some of the top restaurants and operators are grouped together to form this total destination,” said LaMaina. “Being five steps from the playground and the outside music stage, this location, we are hoping, can become a part of the heartbeat of the square.”
Lucharitos will be joining Great South Bay Brewery, Tap Room, Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar, Poki Poke, Redfine Meals at Station Yards. More leases are also in the works.
This will be the fifth location for the Lucharitos brand, which LaMaina launched in Greenport in 2012. The chain has since expanded to Center Moriches, Riverhead, Mattituck, and Melville. LaMaina also shared that his first Nassau County restaurant, located in Mineola, is slated to open by the end of the year.
