Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help to identify and find the man they say stole about $200 from the donation box at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church last month.
Police say the incident occurred on June 9 at about 1:45 p.m. The church is located at 25 Ocean Ave.
Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email via www.tipsubmit.com.
