Here’s very welcome news for anyone who’s had trouble booking a heated igloo during prime time at Maxwell’s in Islip this winter.
Maxwell’s has just added a third igloo to its courtyard at 501 Main Street.
Each of the three igloos are decked out in winter decor, including twinkling lights, fur blankets, rugs and plush seating for up to eight people.
“This fun winter trend is a perfect fit at Maxwell’s for people to enjoy the outdoors all winter long, while still staying warm,” the GM at Maxwell’s, Jeanann Gilligan, previously told us.
Here’s how it works:
There’s a special igloo drink menu (see below) with warm and holiday-themed cocktails and snacks. The Igloos are available by reservation only, for two hours per booking for a maximum party of 8 for $150.
The cost includes the first round of drinks and an exclusive Maxwell’s server for the two-hour duration.
The igloos are available to reserve during regular business hours at Maxwell’s, and they’ll be available through the colder months.
