A 20-year-old Patchogue man was killed early Saturday when his motorcycle collided with an SUV in Medford, police said.
Edison Aguilar was riding a 2008 Honda motorcycle north on Route 112 about 6:53 a.m. when it struck a southbound 2016 Toyota Matrix that was making a left turn at the intersection with Southaven Avenue, police said.
Aguilar was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The woman driving the Toyota, 44-year-old Maria Lobato of Medford, and a passenger in the vehicle were not injured, police said.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
