Construction is well underway behind the Burger King at the north end of Gateway Plaza, with walls up and utility work happening this week
A new Taco Bell is under construction at the north entrance to Gateway Plaza in Patchogue, rising just behind the existing Burger King at 500 Waverly Ave.
The site has been cleared and is being framed out, with walls now standing. Crews are on site working this week.

No timeline has been announced for when construction will wrap up or when the new location will open.
The Patchogue project follows another Taco Bell GLI has been tracking in Medford, where construction at the northern end of Sunshine Plaza is further along than the Patchogue site.
GLI will continue to follow both projects and update readers when opening dates are announced.
