NoaMar Markets donates $1K to Southside Hospital

|

Babylon Village’s NoaMar Markets completed a fundraiser for a cause close to the owners’ hearts.

Frances Beiro, who opened her store summer 2018 with her husband, Heri, has a father named Perfecto Fernandez who suffers from Parkinson’s disease.

On Friday, the Spanish-styled market announced on Facebook it donated $1,000 to Southside Hospital’s neuroscience team for “all the incredible work [they] do on a daily basis.”

NoaMar Markets began collecting donations on July 25, during the market’s one-year anniversary celebration.

“Every year, during our anniversary, we will choose a charity to benefit,” Frances told GreaterBabylon.
