This Tuesday at 8 p.m., Patchogue-Medford High School student Christian Guardino will be performing on America’s Got Talent on NBC.

With the the community watching from home, he’ll walk on stage and belt out one number in hopes of impressing Simon Cowell and the rest of the AGT judges.

Christian is no stranger to singing in front of crowds, or on TV.

He wowed the crowd with “Who’s Lovin You” by the Jackson 5 at Amateur night at the Apollo in December, when he was introduced by Steve Harvey (video above). He’s also sung the National Anthem at a New York Islanders game.

Christian has been singing in public since he was in grade school.

Patchogue-Medford graduate Kaleigh Nolan remembers him singing with That 70’s Band on Friday nights at Dublin Deck during the summer.

“It’s incredible to see someone so young become so successful,” Nolan said. “The crowd was always blown away by his talent so it’s nice to see it recognized. Things like this make me so proud to be from Patchogue-Medford.”

Christian’s uncle Dave Chiarella is hosting a viewing party at PeraBell Food Bar in Patchogue so friends, relatives and local fans can cheer him on together.

Like with a huge sporting event, the episode will be aired on every TV with full sound.

“He came out singing so we’re very proud to to see him follow his dreams,” Chiarella said. “We’re excited to see him put his talents on America’s Got Talent.”
