The luck of the Irish was on full display in Glen Cove this Sunday as thousands gathered under sunny skies to celebrate the city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
With over 60 groups marching, the event brought Irish pride and festive energy to the heart of the community.
Leading the way as grand marshal was Joe McDonald, honored for his dedication to the community and efforts in preserving Irish heritage. He was joined by grand marshal aides Irene Abrams and Sean Basdavanos, both key contributors to the parade’s success.
“We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day,” said parade chairwoman Lisa Forgione. “This parade is a testament to the dedication of our volunteers, the enthusiasm of our participants, and the unwavering support of our community. It’s a day where we all come together to celebrate our heritage and the vibrant spirit of Glen Cove.”
