Photos: Great South Bay Music Festival wraps four-day run in Patchogue

The Great South Bay Music Festival wrapped its 18th year Sunday following four days of live music at Shorefront Park in Patchogue.

The annual music and arts festival featured 55 performers across three stages, drawing crowds for a lineup spanning rock, reggae, pop-punk and jam bands.

The Used and Long Island’s own Bayside opened the festival Thursday, followed by Sublime on Friday. Gov’t Mule and Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers headlined Saturday before My Morning Jacket closed the festival Sunday night with an extended set.

The weekend also featured Little Feat, Common Kings, Cartel, Sierra Hull and dozens of other performers, along with an artisan market, food court, beverage tents and children’s entertainment.

The festival continued its tradition of supporting the GSB–Stony Brook Cancer Center Fund, which has received more than $250,000 from the event over the years.

Greater Long Island was there to capture the sights and sounds of the festival. Check out photos from the weekend by Andrew Theodorakis.
