“Jaws” is heading to Port Jefferson Harbor.
The Village of Port Jefferson is having a public showing of the iconic film at Harborfront Park on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
The village says the show will begin around 8 p.m., just as the sun sets.
“We are super excited for our outdoor showing of this classic, suspense-filled film that originally debuted back in 1978 and it certainly seems oddly appropriate considering the news lately,” reads a post from the event’s page on Facebook.
Event organizers encourage moviegoers to bring their own chairs and refreshments. Social distancing protocols must be observed as well.
