Ready your Easter-best because Port Jefferson is hosting its annual Old-Fashion Easter Bonnet Walking Parade and Egg Hunt this Sunday.
The day begins with the parade at noon, which starts at Theatre Three on Main Street. From there, marchers, who will be led by the Easter Bunny, will walk to the Port Jefferson Village Center.
From 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., the egg hunt will run at Harborfront Park.
“There will be 4,000 eggs for children ages 2 to 8 to collect,” said Barbara Ransome of Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the event.
During the free egg hunt, the Easter Bunny will be taking photos with children.
There will be no rain date for the event.
