Right Coast Taqueria is expanding to Nassau County.
Known for a variety of packed burritos, loaded nachos and signature birria tacos, the owners have jsut announced the latest location will be at 330 E Jericho Turnpike in Mineola.
An opening date has not been revealed yet, but the Right Coast team said they plan on debuting the new store soon.
Owners Richard Zoob and David Preisler met 20 years ago while managing an Irish-themed restaurant.
But they fell in love with Latin and Spanish cuisine while working side-by-side with the kitchen team.
Over time, they all became close friend, and the kitchen staff would share with everyone a mix of Spanish, Mexican, and Central American family recipes, bring in leftovers, and take turns making lunch.
Years later, Zoob and Preisler decided to open their own taqueria to share their passion for food and flavor with others.
Right Coast Taqueria first opened at 516 Commack Road in Deer Park, and last year the men launched a mobile kitchen, which is a 30-foot trailer parked at 960 Main St. in Holbrook.
This virtual location allows customers to order through the Right Coast Taqueria app, Uber Eats, GrubHub, and DoorDash for delivery or pick-up.
They also operate a food truck at 101 Hawkins Ave. in Ronkonkoma.
