A community-centered wellness center is now open on Main Street in Patchogue, blending yoga, individual sessions, wellness goods and community programming.
Sanctuary+Health, founded by nurse leader Kelly Reilly, fills 64 W. Main Street, the former home of Tranquility Within, the beloved holistic healing center founded by the late Dawn Schultzer, who died in 2020 after a battle with breast cancer.
Reilly, whose background spans nursing and health leadership, said she created Sanctuary+Health in response to what she sees as a growing need for spaces that support the whole person. It’s about the physical aspects of health, as well as the emotional and communal dimensions of health, Reilly said.
“This work is about restoring balance — not just in the body, but in how we care for one another,” she said. “Sanctuary+Health exists to remind us that health isn’t a trend. It’s a return — to community, to presence, and to what truly matters.”
The Main Street location, Reilly said, makes wellness more a part of everyday life, rather than something tucked away, Reilly said.
