Scenes from Babylon Village’s Safe and Fun Halloween event

|

The rain didn’t stop Babylon Villagers from coming out to this year’s Safe and Fun Halloween Trick or Treat Parade on Saturday.

This year did, however, have a change of plans because of the weather.

Instead of doing the annual parade on Main Street and Deer Park Avenue, the plans were moved indoors to the American Legion Hall. In addition to the inside parade, there was face painting and a magic show.

“Families had a great time at our indoor parade,” said Kelly Peckholdt of the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, which runs the event.

“A huge thank you to the American Legion for allowing us to host the event indoors on such short notice.”
