Babylon Village’s new wedding venue, The Piermont, was packed for the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition’s 20th annual Chefs for a Cause fundraiser Wednesday night.
The highlight of the event is the dinner and desserts donated from restaurants across the town.
This year was extra special, as the group also celebrated its 25th anniversary.
“This is a milestone year for the BBCC,” said Erika Tripoli, a Coalition board member.
Each year, the Chefs for a Cause night typically raised $60,000, but this year the group was hoping to exceed that.
“The proceeds will benefit the many outreach and educational programs the BBCC provides to our Babylon Town residents,” said Tripoli.
