The new Loading Dock music and comedy venue planned for Patchogue has been cloaked in secrecy.

There’s been hints dropped on sidewalks and garbage containers in the village — in form of Post-it notes and chalk art. And GreaterPatchogue just got tipped off the opening night is Thursday, March 15.

We know more, but it was off the record. We even got a peek.

The idea is a modern speakeasy with an industrial vibe, according to sources, featuring comedians and original musicians.

“TLD is meant to be a place of creativity, art and music,” said one source. “We wanted to create a venue where you could be yourself and enjoy new music and comedy while socializing with your friends. The vibe of our space is unlike anything on Long Island right now.

“We invite you to come get weird with us.”

It’s $20 at the door for the opener, a comedy night hosted by known comic and actor Joseph Vecsey of The Unmovers web series.

You could click here to register through Facebook and 150 people will be granted access and given directions.

The Loading Dock doesn’t have a full liquor license just yet but craft beer and wine will be available.

The place will be jumping on select Thursdays each month.
