It takes more than a village to run the state’s largest water park. More like a small army.
That’s why Splish Splash in Calverton has kicked off its annual hiring blitz — with just over two months remaining before the park’s opening day.
Splish Splash is hosting hiring events in April and early May. Prospective workers can attend job fairs at the park on April 6, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; April 22-26, each day from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and on May 10 from 3-6 p.m.
Applications will be accepted at the fair and online.
The park is casting its net for more than 40 open positions for the 2024 season. Teens who are 14 and older are eligible for many of the jobs, including games, locker, parking lot and “H2Go” attendants; “Clean Team” members; and cashier positions.

Splish Splash indicated that its new “team members” can earn up to $20 per hour. Employee perks include free season passes and free individual tickets for family and friends, paid training, flexible schedules, and discounts on food and retail purchases.
Memorial Day weekend — Saturday, May 25, through Monday, May 27 — is opening weekend at Splish Splash. The park will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on each of the three days.
The park will again be open during the first three weekends of June, before remaining open daily beginning on Wednesday, June 19. The park’s final day of operation for the 2024 season is Labor Day, Sept. 2.
