Eddie B. emerged as a prominent comedian around 2016. His rise to fame began when his homemade videos about teaching and the education system went viral on social media, particularly his “What Teachers Really Want to Say” series. The clips struck a chord with teachers across the country, as they finally had someone to joke about the things they were reluctant to say out loud.
The viral videos led to the creation of his “Teachers Only Tour” in 2017-2018, which further solidified his reputation as a comedian who speaks directly to the experiences of educators. Eddie B. continued selling out comedy club, theater and arenas in 2019-2020 with his “I’m Already Professionally Developed” tour.
In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible for Eddie B. to see his fans in person, he began performing his “Teachers Only” comedy virtually. After the pandemic, Eddie B. hit the stage again with his unfiltered comedy during his “Teachers Only Summer Break Tour” in 2021. This year, he’s been performing at venues across the country during his “Teachers Only Comedy Tour 24.”
