Jamesport Farm Brewery is getting into the Oktoberfest spirit with nearly two weeks of beer, German-style food, live music and some friendly competition.
The brewery’s Oktoberfest celebration runs from Sept. 24 through Oct. 5 at 5873 Sound Ave. in Riverhead, featuring Oktoberfest beer, a special stein release and German-inspired food specials.
The festivities ramp up every Saturday and Sunday with live music, along with keg-rolling races at 1 p.m. and stein-holding competitions at 2 p.m.
The celebration is family- and dog-friendly, giving East End visitors a chance to enjoy some fall weather, live music and Oktoberfest traditions at the farm.
