Rides, games, food, beer and plenty of live music is on tap for the annual Springfest in Lindenhurst Village.
The event, which is run by the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce, will take place Friday, May 3, to Sunday, May 5. Scroll down to see times. The Friday and Saturday portion of the street festival happens on the northwestern part of West Hoffman Avenue.
“There is always well over 100 vendors, from crafts to food merchants,” said RJ Renna, vice president of the chamber.
On Sunday, the festival will expand to Wellwood Avenue for Springfest’s craft beer festival called Ales by the Rails, which will be located by the Lindenhurst Village Gazebo.
“It’s craft beer lovers and Country lovers, too,” said Renna.
In addition to serving over a dozen craft beers, there will also by line dancing and live country music by the band UnWined.
W A Meadwerks will be on hand selling its variety of meads.
A portion of the money raised during Ales by the Rails will benefit the family of Anthony Mainini, the event’s co-founder, who died earlier this year.
“The fundraiser will go toward a college fund for Tony’s children,” said Renna.
