State police arrested two Long Island men in separate child sexual abuse material investigations this month.
The New York State Police Troop L Computer Crimes Unit charged James G. Fisk, 68, of Port Jefferson and Jeffrey Bergida, 63, of Melville with multiple counts of possessing sexual performances by a child, state police said Monday.
While executing a search warrant at Fisk’s Port Jefferson residence on April 9, investigators recovered of sexual material involving children, police said. Fisk is charged with five counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child.
In a separate case, state police arrested Bergida on April 15 following a child pornography investigation. He is charged with five counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child.
Both investigations began after the Computer Crimes Unit received investigative leads, police said.
