It’s time to dust off that camera because the Stony Brook Village Center is running its second annual photo contest.
The rules are simple: be creative, be unique, and have fun!
“We want to create community friendly events that persons can participate in while sharing their great images of their great town,” said the village center’s communication manager, Marie Gilberti.
The competition runs from May 1 to Sept. 14. To submit a photo, you must post the picture to Instagram and tag @StonyBrookVillage with #sbvcontest.
According to the Village Center, judges will pick a winner with the best quality, content, and appreciation of Stony Brook Village.
The first place winner will receive two prizes: An overnight stay for two at Stony Brook’s Three Village Inn with breakfast included, and a $200 gift certificate that is valid for all shops and restaurants in the village.
