Stony Brook football most-accomplished pro Will Tye has found a new NFL home.

According to reports, the Middletown, Conn., native signed a practice squad deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday.

Tye, an undrafted free agent, was Stony Brook’s first-ever player to be signed to an active NFL when the New York Giants inked a deal him in 2015.

That season, he recorded 42 receptions for 464 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games played. His success on the field earned him a selection on the 2015 PFWA All-Rookie Team.

Over the last three seasons combined with the New York Giants and New York Jets (2015-17), Tye has a total of  94 receptions for 897 yards and four touchdowns.

This season, Tye spent time on the New England Patriots practice team before being cut earlier this year.

The 27-year-old has plenty of competition with the Eagles, who have four players ahead of him on the depth chart: Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, Josh Perkins, and Richard Rodgers (coming off injured reserve.)
