New York Lottery announced today, April 8, that the gas station and convenience shop — located at 889 Middle Country Road — sold a prize-winning ticket worth $13,161. It was the first TAKE 5 first-prize winner sold this month on Long Island.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily — at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners in lottery draw games can claim their prizes up to one year from the date of the drawing.

The numbers picked in the April 6 TAKE 5 evening drawing were 2, 5, 9, 11 and 12.
