Long Island’s own Taking Back Sunday is returning to one of the Island’s biggest music festivals.
On Friday, the Great South Bay Music Festival announced that the Amityville-formed band will headline this year’s event. The festival, set for July 24-27 at Patchogue’s Shorefront Park, will feature Taking Back Sunday on Thursday, July 24.
That night, they’ll be joined by Say Anything, Gym Class Heroes, and Head Automatica.
Festival organizers shared the news on social media Friday, also revealing the lineup for Friday, which includes Moe, Umphrey’s McGee, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and Eggy.
The performers for the final two days have yet to be announced.
Note: Each date will feature additional artists beyond those listed. Typically, the festival hosts around 50 acts over its four-day run.
Now in its 17th year, the Great South Bay Music Festival is a staple of Long Island’s summer music scene. Tap here to purchase tickets.
