The Bean Coffee House opens its newest location, this one in Sayville

|

The people of Sayville woke up this morning to get their first cups of coffee at the new Bean Coffee House at 52 Main Street.

That’s because the new location officially opened Wednesday morning in Sayville’s downtown — it joins the company’s roster of coffee shops in Babylon, North Babylon, Bay Shore and Patchogue.

As previously reported, The Bean’s trio of senior partners — Sal Gervasi plus brothers Charlie and Michael Ferrara — took over the site of the closed Starbucks.

The ownership group added longtime worker Andrew Bell as a part-time owner for the Sayville location.

“I’ve been working in the company for six years now,” Bell previously told greaterlongisland.com, “Sal [Gervasi] kind of took me under his wing and said, ‘Here’s the keys, let’s do this thing!'”

Customers can expect a menu, including its popular cold brew, to be identical to those in the other Bean locations. There will also be breakfast sandwiches and bagels, while supplies last, from Harry’s Bagels, according to The Bean’s Instagram.

Here’s a before and after photo of 52 Main Street; the change from Starbucks to The Bean’s new location.
