Last on our list, but certainly not least, is The Bean of Patchogue

Owner Rob Cutrone, a West Islip native, opened the space on 62 West Main Street in 2018. At the time, it was the coffeehouse’s third location — the others in Babylon and Bay Shore.

(The Bean now has locations in Islip and North Babylon.)

Cutrone said what sets The Bean apart is the company’s 48-hour steeped cold brew, hence the Bean tagline: “The land of the cold brew.” He says all ingredients are “controlled from the farm to the cup.”

Try the cold brew, trust us.

The Bean also offers coffee flights that allow new customers to try four coffees of choice, varying in price between $15 to $20.

Cutrone notes that what makes The Bean of Patchogue special is that it’s become a “watering hole and the cornerstone of Main Street. I want people to walk away thinking about their next visit, and we make a point to know our customers on a first-name basis.”
