Chick-fil-A’s footprint on Long Island is getting bigger.
The fast-food chicken chain is set to open a new location in Farmingville later this year, according to a company spokesperson. This month, signage for the new Chick-fil-A outpost was hung up.
“It’s our pleasure to share that a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Farmingville is slated to open this fall,” said a representative from Chick-fil-A, Inc.

Construction began last November at the Expressway Plaza Shopping Center off County Road 83. The restaurant is being erected at a previously unused section of the center, adjacent to the recently renovated Burger King.
According to plans submitted to Brookhaven Town, the restaurant will cover approximately 4,776 square feet, with 70-80 indoor seats and 28 outdoor seats. Additionally, there will be two drive-thrus, each accommodating up to 14 cars.
LI Expansion
Chick-fil-A has been rapidly expanding on Long Island in recent years.
Last year, the company announced plans for new locations in West Babylon, Riverhead and Selden, while opening stores in Levittown in September and Huntington Station in December 2022. Future openings are planned for Medford, Lake Ronkonkoma, and East Meadow, a Chick-fil-A spokesperson confirmed to GLI. Stay tuned with greaterlongisland.com for updates on these locations.
