“Jaws” is heading to Overlook Beach Monday, June 15.
The Town of Babylon is hosting a free drive-in movie theater for town residents. Moviegoers must show their town beach sticker or a valid driver’s license with a Town of Babylon address.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for the classic film. The show is on a first-come basis— the beach’s occupancy is between 250-300 vehicles.
“COVID-19 has undoubtedly set us up for a different kind of summer, but we are happy to use the opportunity to provide an outdoor movie like we normally do, but with a fun new twist while keeping everyone socially distanced,” said Deputy Babylon Town Supervisor and Parks & Recreation chairman Tony Martinez. “I am grateful for our hardworking Parks department staff for making this a reality.”
