A devastating blaze nearly destroyed Billie’s 1890 Saloon two years ago.
After countless hours of re-construction, the popular bar and restaurant has re-opened in Port Jefferson Village.
“We are very excited [to be opened],” said the saloon’s founder, Billie Phillips Jr., who runs the establishment with his son, Billie.
Billie’s 1890 Saloon, located at 304 Main Street, re-launched on Monday with hours from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.
The bar was originally founded back in 1961.
