Patchogue’s Italian Festival of St. Liberata has been postponed by one week.
Originally scheduled for this Saturday, the festival will now take place on Sept. 14 due to potential inclement weather.
“Expect all the same great food, entertainment, and activities next Saturday. Abbondanza!” reads the announcement regarding the date change.

Know before you go
From noon to 6 p.m., Main Street will be closed for the festival. The day will kick off with the traditional parade, which will begin in front of the Suffolk County District Court and finish off at the Four Corners at 12:45 p.m.
Many of the restaurants will be serving meals on the streets.
