Reporter Jodi Goldberg of Fox 5 News visited the Patchogue VFW recently to shine a light on Harmony Café — Long Island’s only pay-what-you-can café.
As of now, Harmony Café operates the second Wednesday each month at the VFW on Edwards Street, an arrangement that began in March of 2016. “Rosemarie’s goal is to raise enough money to open a community cafe five days a week for lunch and dinner,” Goldberg reports.
