It’s a day these kids won’t forget for a while.
New York Mets slugger Daniel Vogelbach spent time in Massapequa on Monday coaching up youngsters for a youth baseball clinic. Scroll down for a full video from the day.
Vogelbach, who’s been an instant fan favorite since getting traded to the Mets late July, signed autographs and took photos for the kids at Lou Anthony Sports Complex on Parkside Blvd.
The event was a collaboration between the Nassau County PAL and Pioneer Sports Events. The groups held a similar outing earlier this month when Yankees pitcher Nestor Cortes came to town.
