The 20th annual Jones Beach Air Show kicked off on this sun-splashed Friday, and Greater Long Island was there to capture the day.
The GLI team got the opportunity to fly with the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights, a team led by East Islip’s very own Sergeant First Class Ryan O’Rourke. Scroll down for photos.
“This show is always awesome,” said O’Rourke, who has served in the Army for the last 18 years, six with the parachute team. “It’s really special to be here on the 20th anniversary.”
