A 7-Eleven in West Babylon sold a $1 million top prize on New York Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Holiday Cash” scratch-off game, lottery officials announced.
The big winner, Ralph DeRosa of Flushing, claimed his winnings on Tuesday. The Queens man received a one-time lump sum payment of $428,568, after required withholdings.
DeRosa is one of two scratch-off players this week to claim a $1 million prize via a ticket purchased at a South Shore 7-Eleven. He bought his winning ticket at the 7-Eleven located at 135 Route 109 in West Babylon, while Janiah Williams of Central Islip won the same prize with a ticket purchased at 56 Lowell Ave. in Islip Terrace.
Both tickets were from the $1,000,000 Holiday Cash scratch-off game.
All top prizes on $1,000,000 Holiday Cash have now been claimed, though valid lower-tier prizes may still be redeemed through Jan. 13, 2026.
