Maybe you like tacos. Maybe you don’t. Either way, Taco Tuesday is a thing and a lot of people are on board.
Here are five places in the Greater Patchogue area to get yourself some tacos on Tuesday (or any other day of the week):
- Del Fuego, Patchogue Taco Tuesday is an all-day event at Del Fuego. It starts with $2.50 tacos for lunch and then an $11 taco dinner. You can choose from Pulled Pork, Mesquite Chicken, Beef Brisket and Ground Beef Tacos. The Beef Brisket Tacos with Poblano Aioli are a steal at $2.50 each. Use your extra money to buy a refreshing Blackberry Margarita.
- Flo’s, Patchogue Not only are the tacos part of the deal, but cold Coronas are too. The Taco Tuesday special includes three tacos for $9.99, and you can choose from Steak, Chicken, Veggie and even Shrimp Tacos. If you had a rough day, Coronas are $4 each and if your day was OK, a Summer Blend is a great choice to wash down your meal.

- Harbor Crab, Patchogue On a Tuesday night, you can eat your tacos on the water. Harbor Crab has a Two-Fer Tuesday that includes $2 tacos, $2 Coronitas (those are little Coronas) and 2-for-1 lobsters. The tacos are soft shell and can be beef, fish or chicken. Not only can you look out on the water while stuffing your face with tacos, you can be aboard the Barefoot Princess and look fancy while you do it.
- Avocados, Bayport There may not be a Taco Tuesday special at Avocados, but there are a variety of specials every day. Just check the board. You can get tacos whenever you want, including their popular Chicken Bacon Ranch Taco and their Tropical Taco. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Taco includes exactly what it says and people love it. The Tropical Taco includes shrimp, pineapple, mango, cheese and salsa. It is a great mix of sweet and savory.
Salsa Salsa, Bayport Whether it’s Tuesday or not, at Salsa Salsa you could get a great deal on a very popular item on the current menu: the Shrimp BLT Taco. This taco includes grilled shrimp, bacon, lettuce, salsa, cheese and chipotle sour cream. They are currently running a special where you can get three of these for $11.95. You can also get them without the fish for $8.95.
