Wonder is bringing its multi-restaurant food hall experience to Port Jefferson Station this fall.
The fast-growing culinary and delivery concept will open inside the Nesconset Shopping Center, filling a former Bethpage Federal Credit Union location.
The Port Jeff Station location marks Wonder’s fifth confirmed site on Long Island, joining its Melville storefront, which opened in May, and upcoming locations in Holbrook, Deer Park and Plainview.
“We are so excited to bring the Wonder experience to Long Island!” said Daniel Shlossman, the company’s chief growth and marketing officer after the Melville opening. “With our roots in New York City, establishing a presence on Long Island is a key step for us, and we’re eager to continue our goal of making great food more accessible.”
Wonder is known for its unique model that brings together dishes from over 15 top chefs and acclaimed restaurants, all under one roof. Customers can order items from multiple menus in a single order — think Di Fara Pizza, Bobby Flay Steak, SriPraPhai, Chios Taverna and Tejas Barbecue — and have everything delivered in about 30 minutes, on average.
Each location varies slightly, but most offer pick-up and limited dine-in options in addition to fast delivery.
An opening date has not yet been announced.
Wonder now operates nearly 50 locations across the Northeast, including in New York City, Westchester, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
About Wonder
Wonder launched in 2018, the brainchild of entrepreneur Marc Lore, who previously led Walmart’s U.S. eCommerce division and founded Jet.com. The company began as a fleet of mobile kitchens, preparing gourmet meals right outside customers’ homes. In 2023, Wonder pivoted to a new model, opening physical locations that blend the ease of delivery with the experience of dining at top-tier restaurants — all under one roof in a food hall-style setup.
