Yummier Beach Club spots now serve Robert Moses and Jones Beach

|

Beachgoers can now enjoy frozen cocktails, snacks, and homemade gelato at both Robert Moses and Jones Beach.

Yummier Beach Club has enhanced the Long Island beach day experience after taking over as the concession stand management at Robert Moses State Park in 2020.

“We wanted to do more finger foods, easy for the beach and you can take it to the sand,” Yianni Piyis, the manager, said. “Drinks are the same concept. It’s hot out, so we have frozen drinks and whatever you want.”

The bar’s décor is meant to make customers feel like they are on a tropical getaway, with palm trees swaying above the vibrant colored tables and chairs.

Patrons can order from a wide drink selection, such as classic cocktails, frozens drinks, mojitos, margaritas, coolers and original Yummier cocktails.

Those looking for some beach grub can order such American classics as hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, fried fish platters and gyros.

Beachgoers can top off the fun with some of Yummier’s house-made gelato flavors, which include strawberry, sea salt caramel, bubblegum, nutella and stracciatella.

“[The owner] loves trying different ingredients for drinks, and for the ice cream,” Piyis said.

The manager added that being right in front of the ocean boosts the bar’s overall ambiance.

“We have clear water, the ecology is back,” he said. “We see dolphins, we had seals earlier in the month.”

Yummier Beach Club operates several spots at Robert Moses’ Fields 2, 3, 4 and 5, seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to sunset.

This year, Yummier expanded its Jones Beach Field 6 and East Bathhouse locations to include the Central Mall, Boardwalk Café (Taco Bae), and West Bathhouse.

Central Mall is open every day from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Field 6 operates daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. West Bathhouse is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
