Nashville’s popular hot chicken sandwiches have landed in Shirley.
Smack n’ Chick, located on the corner of William Floyd Parkway and Montauk Highway, celebrated its grand opening earlier this month on April 13. It replaced Gerardo’s Pizza & Pasta, a pizzeria that closed at 800-6 Montauk Highway back in September.
Here’s how Smack n’ Chick works.
You pick from the eatery’s Smackin’ lineup (priced at $13.99 each): chicken sliders or tenders. Then the meals are dosed in your heat of choice: mild, hot or xtreme.
Each item is then served with fries, cole slaw, pickles, and Smack n’ Chick’s signature “smackin” sauce.
Smack n’ Chick is halal certified and also dishes gyros and rice platters topped with meat (chicken, lamb, or fish).
The hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The store’s number is 631-657-6242.
