Toast Coffee + Kitchen to join Station Yards development in Ronkonkoma

|

The Station Yards development in Ronkonkoma has landed its breakfast and brunch spot.

On Monday, TRITEC Real Estate Company, the developer of the project, announced that Toast Coffee + Kitchen will be taking a 5,004-square-foot space across from the LIRR station.

“We are thrilled to welcome a high-end coffee and restaurant establishment like Toast to Station Yards,” said Jake Horowitz, vice president of Colliers, the agency that represents TRITEC. “Toast has built a loyal following by providing quality food and coffee to its patrons for years, and we can’t wait to see them flourish at Station Yards.”

This will be the fifth Toast on the island.

The first Toast opened in Port Jefferson in 2002, then moved to a larger location in Port Jeff Station in 2022. The Patchogue location opened in 2015. Bay Shore followed in 2018. Nassau’s first Toast opened in Long Beach last summer.

Terry Scarlatos, founder of Toast, said teaming up with TRITEC at Station Yards was a no-brainer.

“As a proud Ronkonkoma local who has witnessed the incredible revitalization efforts firsthand, I believe this opportunity is a dream come true,” he said.

This Toast will be different than his locations, with plans to have dedicated grab-and-go/take away area for commuters, Scarlatos said.

They plan to launch in Ronkonkoma sometime this summer.

Toast will be joining Lucharitos, Great South Bay Brewery, Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar, Poki Poke, Redfine Meals at Station Yards. More leases are also in the works.

TRITEC has been building out its Station Yard project in multiple phases, completing its first phase of 489 apartment homes, Alston Station Yards, in 2021.

This current development called The Core will feature 388 apartment homes, 70,000 square feet of retail space, 16,500 square feet of office and a public plaza. It’s expected to be complete in late spring or early summer.
